Sports Statistics

One of the most demanding areas in the world of on-air graphics is live sports coverage. wTVision has developed a complete suite of products to embrace these needs. wTVision uses its technology to produce over 2300 live sports broadcasts every year.

In a football game, data collection is made by our in-stadium operator who observes every single action taken by all players on the field. He registers attacks, defenses, assistances, off-sides, faults, ball possession and in real-time communicates events to our OB-Van which is located outside the stadium.

wTVision is also prepared to collect any kind of statistics of any kind of sports, e.g. cycling gap differences through GPS or a real time tennis match result.

In the OB-Van the events are converted by the Football Slides application into graphics and suggested to the director who is located in another OB-Van, everything in real-time! As part of this service we produce a detailed report at the end of the first half and a second one at the end of the game including all the collected statistics. Reports can also be shared in real-time with Sports reporters or uploaded to the Internet. The whole set of data can be stored by Sports Manager database system.
