2009 Gulf Cup in Oman
wTVision, as part of the full service offered by MediaPro, supports for the third consecutive time, the 2009 Gulf Cup. From January 2 to 17, this year’s edition takes place in Oman and participating countries include Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, and of course Oman.
wTVision is responsible for the gathering and broadcast of all the statistics of the 4 different sports modalities, Basketball, Football, Handball and Volleyball.
wTVision uses its SportStats real-time scouting system, allowing the broadcast of line-up of players, individual statistic as well as collective statistic, presentation of the game and the results of groups, everything in real-time!
This tournament is transmitted by Aljazeera for the first time in HD (High Definition) format and real-time on-air graphics are broadcasted in Arab.
Furthermore, Aljazeera’s viewers are offered virtual graphics, such as distance between free kick barrier and the goal, 9.15 m circle for free-kicks and off-side line detection.
