wTVision attended for the ninth consecutive time the most prestigious Portuguese tennis tournament of the ATP circuit, which took place May 1 to 9 at Estádio Nacional in Lisbon. Working closely with RTP, wTVision created and adapted two different graphics look-and-feel - for the men’s competition using the new official ATP look and for the women’s competition RTP 2’s look-and-feel, both implemented in 3D. On-air graphics and statistics were broadcasted in real-time, including 1st and 2nd services percentages, aces, double faults, forced and unforced errors, won points at 1st and 2nd services, among others…
Non-stop, wTVision travels to Paris to attend from May 24 to June 7 Roland-Garros 2009 to support Al Jazeera’s broadcast of graphics. Roland-Garros is France’s most prestigious tennis tournament with the widest worldwide broadcasting and audience of all regular events in this sport.
