The Channel Maker Ad-Insert is a digital video inserter which seamlessly play scheduled ads into a digital (SDI) main channel feed with embedded audio. This product allows a TV station to insert local advertising during the broadcast of an international TV channel and increase revenue by selling advertising space to local partners.


What does it include?


  • Playout engine SD/HD-SDI
  • Video Storage up to 500 GB
  • Cue Tones Reader (DTMF, VBI and GPI)
  • Video Player with Scheduled or External triggering



This solution is composed by hardware and software and includes an internal video storage and a playout engine in SD/HD. The system is prepared to play video and graphics with Scheduled or External triggering (eg. GPI, Cue Tones).

The system makes it possible to manage two external video inputs or one external video input and use the local storage to play the advertising.

It is prepared to switch video sources on cue or to manage both sources simultaneously on the screen using DVE’s with squeeze back and other effects.
