WORKING WITH CHANNEL MAKER

Channel Maker takes care of the playout and allows the automation of on-air graphics in multi-zone and multi layer layouts, such as station logos, squeeze-backs, tickers and lower thirds
The software gives the operator full control over the playlist, can be integrated with external devices (e.g. video servers), and automate all the graphics based on secondary events
Last-minute changes, made in the sequencer, will automatically be synchronized with the playlist in the playout automation
Channel Maker allows the operator to manually control all the last minute changes overriding the automation system
One of the best features of this solution is the automated tasks that it includes, such as the automatic EPG or “Now” and “Next” graphics
You can redesign your program or channel graphics - Channel Maker will automatically recognize and integrate them in the system

CASE STUDY

TV Globo and wTVision become strategic partners and worked in close partnership to create and operate the International Channels of the largest and most famous Brazilian TV Network.

Until now, TV Globo only had single channel for all of Europe and Africa (Portugal is the exception with 4 hours local content per day). From now on European and African TV viewers will have their own channel with specific content and schedules for each market.

The operation service is provided by a wTVision team and the management of the channels is made 24/7. This service includes the recording of the transmissions, playlist importation, defined by TV Globo, preparation and content ingest, and creation of playlists for each channel. These channels broadcast not only recorded programs, but also live news broadcasts, football games and several other shows, with only a small delay.

All the project development and installation was full responsibility of wTVision, which used its Channel Maker to make possible and simple all the playout automation.
