It‘s a digital video insertion tool which seamlessly plays scheduled ads into a digital (SDI) main channel feed with embedded audio.
The solution is composed by hardware and software and includes an internal video storage and a playout engine in SD/HD.
The system is prepared to play video with Scheduled or External triggering (e.g. GPI, Cue Tones).
The system makes it possible to manage two external video inputs or one external video input and use the local storage to play the advertising.

wTVision provides TV Globo with a live controlroom overlay promotion solution
Portugal Telecom has recently acquired wTVision Channel Maker Ad-Insert to broadcast JIM JAM, a TV channel targeted to pre-school children. This product allows a TV station to insert local advertising during the broadcast of an international TV channel and increase revenue by selling advertising space to local partners. By processing external triggers (cue tones, audio tones or GPI pulses) or based on time schedule, Channel Maker Ad-Insert is able to overlay a video play-out according to a predefined playlist.
