Sports CG and R³ Engine transformed official GPS and timing feeds into dynamic on-screen graphics throughout the five-stage Belgian race.
wTVision powered the real-time broadcast graphics for the 95th edition of the Baloise Belgium Tour, held from June 17 to 21, 2026. Across five stages and 925.8 kilometers, the project brought live race data to the screen, helping viewers follow the evolving dynamics of one of Belgium’s leading cycling events.
Organized by Golazo, with ChronoRace as the official data provider and VRT as host broadcaster, the race took riders through a varied route from Scherpenheuvel-Zichem to Hoeilaart. The competition reached audiences across multiple international markets, including through FloBikes in the United States and Canada, TNT Sports and HBO Max in the United Kingdom, and Eurosport and Max across European territories.
At the center of wTVision’s operation was an integrated workflow combining Sports CG and the R³ Engine. Sports CG processed the official GPS and timing feeds in real time, giving the production team control over essential race information such as speed, distance, time differences and gaps between riders and groups.
The R³ Engine rendered this information as frame-accurate broadcast graphics, turning continuously changing data into clear visual references for the audience. Together, the two technologies supported a seamless flow from data ingestion and editorial control to final on-screen output.
In a stage race, where breakaways, group formations and time gaps can change within seconds, graphics play an essential role in making the competition easier to understand. The workflow deployed for the Baloise Belgium Tour allowed the coverage to respond to those developments in real time, while maintaining visual consistency throughout the five days of racing.

The Baloise Belgium Tour builds on wTVision’s growing track record in cycling. In 2025, the company supported the Renewi Tour, its first cycling project in Belgium, also working alongside Golazo and ChronoRace. Other projects have included the Volta ao Algarve and the Bike Abu Dhabi Gran Fondo, each requiring live data to be translated into accurate, accessible and visually engaging graphics.
