wTVision was once again the official provider of the broadcast graphics and data integration services at the cycling event - Volta a Portugal, that is now on its 77th edition. Over the past 15 years, wTVision has been the graphics company behind this historical cycling competition in Portugal, working for its client RTP, the portuguese public channel.

4 wTVision’s specialists and one OB-Van were in all stages during the 12 days of the competition, guaranteeing all the equipment set up and the live operation services. The service provided to RTP included the implementation of the graphics and its integration on the CyclingStats CG, the integration with the official time provider and the integration with GPS systems, for the location data.

CyclingStats CG was the dedicated software used in this event. It calculates the time differences between cyclists and the time and distance to the finish line, in real-time. Several graphics were presented with not only this information but also with athletes ID’s and several other informations.
