wTVision’s Studio CG and Quiz Manager are the products at the center of the the new TV Show produced by the client Shine Ibéria – Portugal that is being broadcast by RTP during the evening prime time – The Big Picture. This is an interactive quiz show with 12 levels. Each level has a question, related to a picture, that appears on a giant screen on studio, and four possible answers. The contestants can ask for help to viewers at home, who use a Mobile App to vote on the correct answer.
Studio CG is controlling the graphics to appear on the 4 existing led walls on the studio and the on-screen graphics (horizontal and vertical overlay graphics and full-screens). All these 6 outputs are managed from one single environment, making the operation easier. Studio CG is also controlling, through GPI’s, real-time lights and sounds based on specific moments of the show (opening, etc) and contestant responses, in real-time. The Quiz Manager enables the search, catalogation, import or creation of new questions and the creation of new games, with the questions rundown.
wTVision’s service included the implementation of the graphics, the customization of the software and the live operation of the Mobile App.
