This February, the horse endurance competition His Highness The President of the United Arab Emirates Endurance Cup was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Three operators from wTVision Dubai were present at the Emirates International Endurance Village, with the company’s solution for horse racing coverage, HorseStatsCG.

Together with the graphics operation, wTVision also used it’s own GPS system, installed into two jeep’s that follow the race and provide their positioning during the 160km event.

Using this system, wTVision was able to provide graphical information about the race leader, and to show a live map with the path already travelled and the expected time to finish.

All the graphics were designed by wTVision for this project, inspired by the Yas Channel graphic line, a brand new channelfrom Abu Dhabi Media, wTVision’s client in this project.

This competition was organized by the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival and involved about 180 riders representing the UAE, USA, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, which competed for both individual as well as team honors.
