wTVision is developing Augmented Reality solutions for multiple Spanish sports shows, showing once again its capacity to deliver virtual solutions with its own technology or integrating with a previously established workflow. wTVision is managing the Augmented Reality for seven different sports show formats, with our team of specialists perfectly adapting to each show specification.

In a collaboration with Vàlencia Imagina Televisió and the TV Channel À Punt, wTVision manages all virtual graphics for the live shows “Tot Futbol” and “Tot Esport”. All of this is done thanks to a workflow based on wTVision’s products and solutions.

The extensive project includes a PCR solution that combines wTVision’s Studio CG and R³ Space Engine (real-time 3D graphics engine). Augmented Reality graphics are generated with tracking and camera sensorization via Stype.

All on-air graphics, both on the live show and the on the video wall are managed by wTVision. To moderate and sort social media content from Twitter and WhatsApp, wTVision provided its cloud solution that perfectly integrates with the playout applications and generates broadcast graphics based on selected social media posts. The project also includes a solution for a screen, displayed on the video wall,  for the analysis of football and basketball matches, where plays, players and highlights are graphically analysed, creating deeper understanding for viewers at home.

We have also been working for two shows produced by Mediapro, with sets designed by Get Set, a company that is part of the Mediapro group.

For Movistar+ , wTVision is controlling and managing all the Augmented Reality thanks to its very own Studio CG. An AR ceiling with virtual video walls is present in shows like “El Tercer Tiempo”, “Noche de Champions” or “Noche de UEFA Europa League” and Studio CG also controls all virtual graphics launched in the studio sets. For this project, wTVision uses three cameras tracked by Redspy with Viz Studio Manager and three VIZ engines with the AR output to cover the ceiling of the real set and the 4th wall.

The same solution is being used for the show “Viva La Liga”, that intends to bring all the latest updates on Spanish football to fans all over the world, in a collaboration with La Liga TV International. Studio CG controls all virtual graphics, that are tracked by Redspy with Viz Studio Manager and three VIZ engines.
