The Portuguese channel is set to join wTVision’s Playout Automation solutions, having chosen our Lisbon headquarters as its Master Control Room.

Starting in February, wTVision will welcome a new channel to its technological hub in Lisbon by integrating Canal Q in its Master Control Room. The comedy-dedicated channel chose wTVision’s infrastructure and intuitive software - ChannelMaker - to continue broadcasts across Portugal.

wTVision is able to allocate any channel into its flexible MCR by adapting its infrastructure to the specific needs of each project. Thanks to our software stack it is possible to create a Playout Automation system from scratch or simply accommodate any structure in our fully adaptable Playout Center. Channels can then choose from any working model available (on-premises, on-cloud or hybrid) and even manage playout operations remotely or on-site.

Canal Q is the latest addition to wTVision’s MCR joining a list of growing channels that includes Eleven Sports Portugal or Globo International. They all will benefit from ChannelMaker’s automation, manage assets thanks to MAM and ingest content from our Ingest Room, with Media Tools.
