wTVision managed all data and real-time graphics for the Abu Dhabi Marathon, integrating the official timing system of the competition and implementing the complete graphic concept.

All graphic information was generated thanks to wTVision’s real-time 3D graphic engine, R³ Space Engine, a flexible render engine that seamlessly integrates with the rest of wTVision’s technology and covers the main software necessities of any major TV channel. Data was imported from a GPS system that tracked the race and the athletes’ performance.

Additionally, four wTVision specialists were on site, at all times, guaranteeing the quality and efficiency of the graphics during the entire competition.

On December 7, runners took the roads of the city of the United Arab Emirates for a unique marathon, set along the beautiful landscape of Abu Dhabi. This was the first edition of the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon, “bringing the world’s oldest race to one of the world’s most modern cities”.
