During the last years, wTVision has been delivering graphics solutions with social generated content, that had its first start with feeds coming from calls and sms. The last projects of wTVision are a mirror of a growing and natural evolution of the current open standards of audience participation on TV Shows.
Go Social, wTVision’s cloud solution for managing user content published through social networks, is being used massively in almost all kind of programs: on live election coverage by voicing general public and politician reactions to election results, on extremely long online coverage of sports like a Surfing Championship or in entertainment shows, where social media plays a crucial role in keeping the event lively and one-to-one interaction with commentators and presenters deepening the connection with the audience in ways not possible before.
Usually, Go Social is delivered together with Studio CG. Two latest projects of the company on this area it’s the online game League of Legends from Riot Games in São Paulo and Santiago Chile and the TV Show “Xuxa Meneghel”, broadcast by TV Record. On both programs GO Social is being used to moderate, sort, search, generate playlists, manage hashtags and create polls. The approved data feeds, with text and image content, are then made available to be Integrated with Studio CG, that in turn generates the broadcast graphics, in real-time.
