Fans of action sports had a better experience thanks to wTVision’s solutions. The NOS Air Race Championship and Red Bull Skate Arcade took place in Cascais and Ericeira, respectively.

The project for the NOS Air Race Championship had graphics designed by wTVision, while the software SportStats CG integrated the official timers and the company’s operators managed the graphics playout. Red Bull Skate Arcade had a similar service, but the graphics design was made by the client.

Rita Pereira, wTVision’s Marketing Manager, states that events like these represent big opportunities for the company: “We are always eager to try new things and put ourselves to the test, especially since this attitude has brought us great results so far. In 2010, we had the opportunity to participate in the first surf competition broadcast in HD and 3D. Since then, wTVision has been providing services in every surf event for the client ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals). The same happened with the International Judo Federation. Since February 2013, we have covered judo competitions in over 20 countries. This is only possible due to our software, which is built to be extremely portable and adaptable, and specialized operators. The agile approach we have has been very successful so far”.
