wTVision implemented all on-air graphics for Eleven Sports Portugal, adapting them from networks’ new look and feel, and developed an Augmented Reality solution for Champions League coverage.

Since August 3, Eleven Sports Portugal has been broadcasting with a new graphic concept that was completely implemented by our broadcast design team. All on-air graphics, wipes, fillers and virtual sets were created and adapted from Eleven Sports’ international rebranding, which gave all of the network channels a new visual concept.

Additionally, our post-production team worked on every promo and self-promotion content to make sure it perfectly matched the more clean and modern look provided by Eleven Sports.

As for the Champions League coverage (and having in mind the competition’s finals held in Lisbon) our team developed a new Augmented Reality solution and renewed the virtual set for the studio show produced on wTVision’s Lisbon facilities. Infographics with relevant data from teams and players, such as goals, assists and performance, have been added as virtual graphics in all live productions.

All of this was possible thanks to wTVision’s own technology, with Studio CG controlling all on-air graphics and video in a combination with R³ Space Engine, our real-time 3D render engine.
