Benavente Television is a Spanish TV from Zamora and the local reference in this province reaching the Northern Zamora, South of Leon and the Northwestern of Valladolid. With the "Festival del Toro Enmaromado 2012" TV Benavente decided to renew its automation playout system and the graphics look&feel; to offer viewers a better TV experience.

To achieve this, TV Benavente chose wTVision’s Playout System. Working in partnership with this client, wTVision offered a complete solution integrating ChannelMaker with wTVision's internal video server and a partner's graphics engine.

With ChannelMaker, the client optimized resources. Operators have now full control over playlists, content is centralizedand the most important development, the client enriched its TV with new automated graphics.

By incorporating a video server, wTVision improved customer workflow, centralizing the content source and eliminating different storage devices, unifying them in one single source.

The integration of ChannelMaker with the graphics engine, enabled client to renew its channel look & feel, introducing 3D animated graphics in real-time.

All graphics were designed by wTVision according to customer guidelines, improving the quality of the graphics without losing the channel’s branding. These graphics include: bugs, lower-thirds, EPGs, “Now” and “Next” graphics and advertising banners.

Another advantage of the integration of ChannelMaker with the graphics engine is the possibility of inserting graphics metadatato automate graphics such as: bugs, “now” or "Next", EPGs, information tickers and advertising banners. This automation tasks allows customers to save post-production time and optimize the workflow of the channel.

This Project was implemented not only with the present in mind but also the future. ChannelMaker’s flexibility in integrating third-party equipment and the scalability of this product allows the customer to make this channel grow at any time.
