The AR system developed for the Chinese Super League marks the beginning of wTVision’s road in Chinese football, adding this ever-growing league to our extensive portfolio of football competition’s all over the world.
“We’re thrilled to have the Chinese Super League as the newest member of a vast number of football competitions that already implemented wTVision’s AR solutions. This project is the starting point of what we hope will be a long, challenging and creative relationship with CSL, adding value, innovation and contributing to leverage the Chinese Football as a sports product. We’re proud of this first step and the partnerships that were created and strengthened with it. We have high expectations towards the future and where it may take us.” – – Bruno Parreiras, China Division Manager & Partner.
The solution rests on a combination of wTVision’s latest version of its sports graphics controller, FootballStats CG V5, our flexible Augmented Reality software, AR³ Football, and our rendering engine R³ Space Engine.
AR³ Football and R³ Space Engine are responsible for tracking and virtual graphics placement, while operators on site can control and broadcast all augmented reality graphics thanks to our intuitive software: FootballStats CG.
Augmented reality graphics include game presentations in two languages, line-ups, information on players and matches, or virtual placement of some of the league’s main advertisers. Every piece of graphic information was adapted and integrated into broadcasts by our broadcast design team, which transformed our partner’s main guidelines into compelling virtual graphics.
wTVision has been adapting this same solution in football championships all over the world, like Liga NOS or LaLiga, but it’s the first time Chinese football fans get to experience this immersive broadcast environment with our simple setup.
“At MEDIAPRO, we are committed to providing solutions that enhance our broadcasting quality and develop a product that is more visually appealing for football fans.” – CEO of MEDIAPRO Asia Pacific, Pilar Jimenez.
