The kickoff of this innovative approach, developed by wTVision for LIVE (a UAE-based state of the art production company), was the Arabian Gulf Super Cup that took place in Cairo, Egypt, on September 13, and, for the first time ever, was played outside UAE territory. The Super Cup marked the launch of a full branding project that included the creation of openers, closers, bumpers and on-air graphics in two languages (Arabic and English) for the Arabian Gulf League, Arabian Gulf Cup, Arabian Gulf Super Cup and Under-21 League, having each competition a specific look and feel created specifically for it.
wTVision was particularly fit for the job for its long-standing relation with PLC, the UAE Pro League Committee. Since 2008, when PLC started to manage and organize professional football competitions, wTVision has been taking part in the broadcast operations of these events.
This project is important to strengthen the relations between wTVision, PLC and LIVE, highlighting the pivotal role of wTVision in sports stats and real-time graphics worldwide.
