wTVision provided a complete graphics solution to the TV channel SCTV, in Jakarta, for the Indonesian parliamentary elections held in April. This was the first time that wTVision developed a project in Indonesia, reinforcing the company’s expansion in Asia.

Elections CG, wTVision’s product to manage electoral projects, was the chosen solution to answer the client's request, allowing the integration of the official data through the client’s data provider, and the implementation of virtual graphics. The studio set included videowalls and a touchscreen that allowed the host to control the graphics displayed. The journalist also had an iPad that handled the playout of virtual graphics. wTVision’s designers handled the graphics design and implementation and the operation was almost completely automated through the iPad and touchscreen, while the company’s operators only had to control the graphics in the videowall.

Merdi Sofansyah, Chief Editor News SCTV, commented about the project: “We’re very satisfied with the way wTVision helped with our election night. We’ve learned much with this project and are eager to continue this partnership in the future”.

Willem van Breukelen, wTVision’s sales representative, stated that “Our first election project in Southeast Asia shows our determination and capacity to provide added value services with impact at affordable costs to the broadcasters in the region”.

wTVision provided graphics services for more than 90 electoral projects in 10 countries. The company is currently expanding its solutions in Southeast Asia.
