The first edition of the Basketball Champions League is already under way and wTVision partnered with FIBA, once again, to deliver the best graphics during the inaugural season of this exciting competition.

During the 2016-17 season, wTVision will be in charge of the broadcast graphics operations in Spain, Belgium, Latvia and Finland, integrating its software with the official design, the basketball venues’ protocols and FIBA Europe Stats Suite.

The first matches of the regular season were already played on the 18th and 19th of October and wTVision assured an outstanding performance on the three matches operated by the company.

FIBA wants to promote the teams and leagues under its control and has high expectations for this innovative competition that encompasses 31 countries and wants to change the way European teams compete, introducing high standards on the TV broadcasting and increasing the quality of the experience for viewers worldwide. It was, therefore, a natural process, the one that culminated in the attribution of the graphic operations in four countries to wTVision, after the successful partnerships with FIBA for AfroBasket, Europe Cup and FIBA 3x3 World Tour.

wTVision’s powerful and flexible software makes it possible to control the entire graphics package with a single operator, that also assures the manual input of collective data in the case of an extraordinary event that collapses all the systems in place. The graphics operated by wTVision include the title sequence, bumpers, replay wipes, stings, countdowns, the score clock, the starting five and the match stats, among many others.
