Real-Time Graphics and Augmented Reality: wTVision at Stock CarJanuary 3, 2024

wTVision has reinforced its involvement in Brazil's renowned Stock Car racing competition by taking charge of real-time graphics and data. The project, executed for Vicar, boasts a sophisticated setup utilizing wTVision's software stack and the creative input of our broadcast design team, responsible for the conception and implementation of all graphics presented.

In addition to the graphics, our team also developed engaging augmented reality graphics during Stock Car’s Super Final, featuring the pilots and the cars with valuable data. These graphics were developed thanks to our team’s expertise with the Unreal Engine, which added an extra layer of photorealism.

The real-time graphics and data integration were achieved through our MotorStats CG software, known for its intuitive capabilities to retrieve data and transform it into visually compelling broadcast graphics. While MotorStats CG seamlessly integrates with all major rendering engines in the market, the Stock Car project also benefited from wTVision's R3 Space Engine. This engine provided us with a flexible 3D rendering solution that is easy to deploy, contributing significantly to the success of the augmented reality graphics development for Stock Car.

This an example of wTVision’s continuous work with Stock Car always striving for new and innovative ways of broadcasting the sport so the fans get the best television experience.
