Renewi Tour: wTVision strengthens its footprint in European cyclingSeptember 2, 2025

Belgium is widely regarded as one of cycling’s global strongholds, home to legendary riders and some of the sport’s most celebrated races. In 2025, wTVision made its debut in this highly competitive market by powering the Renewi Tour with real-time graphics and live data integration — a milestone that reaffirms our growing presence in international cycling.

The project brought together the expertise of ChronoRace (official timing provider), event organizer Golazo, and broadcaster VRT, with wTVision at the center of the graphics and data operation. The five-stage race, each with unique lap structures, was brought to life with data-driven graphics and local operational support that ensured flawless delivery on screen.

At the core of this coverage was the combination of two of wTVision’s flagship technologies. SportsCG, our sports intelligence and control application, processed the official GPS and timing feeds with editorial precision, ensuring speed, distance, group gaps and time differences were captured in real time. Complementing it, the R³ Space Engine, our advanced real-time render engine, transformed this data into visually compelling broadcast graphics with frame accuracy and fidelity. Together, they formed a seamless workflow where data became narrative — turning complex race dynamics into an engaging viewer experience.

For John De Clerck, wTVision’s Country Manager for Belgium, the project represents both a technological achievement and a strategic milestone:

“The Renewi Tour was our first cycling project in Belgium — a country where the sport is almost a national language. Delivering a flawless data-driven broadcast here is an important step in reinforcing wTVision’s position in Europe and in showing our ability to adapt to the most demanding markets,” he explains.

The Renewi Tour adds to a growing list of cycling events enhanced by wTVision, including the Volta ao Algarve and the Bike Abu Dhabi Gran Fondo, underscoring our role in transforming how audiences connect with endurance sports. Each project builds on the same foundation: operational precision, intelligent data integration, and graphics that elevate the narrative of competition.

The Renewi Tour already stands as proof of wTVision’s ability to deliver world-class cycling coverage in one of the sport’s most tradition-rich arenas. It sets a precedent for future collaborations and strengthens our ambition to redefine how international sports are experienced on screen.
