Ricardo Faustino is the new CEO of wTVision. As a founding member of wTVision, Ricardo has a long experience in managing the company, first as director of the software development department, then as head of the project management office, finally as Project Operations Director and as a Board Member, supporting all of wTVision's international operations along the way.
Ricardo emphasizes that “this is the time to move forward. Throughout these last 20 years, wTVision has been conquering a highlighted position in the broadcasting industry and it’s with that focus that we will continue the great work from my predecessors”. This new phase has the core of its focus “at strengthening the company’s international market expertise and continuing to have innovation as a focal point”.
wTVision thanks Nuno Alves, its previous CEO, for all his efforts and dedication to the company through all these years and wishes him the best of luck with future career endeavors.
There were also other changes within the Global Management Committee. Flávio Maurício, former USA Country Manager is stepping in as Chief Technology Officer, Ricardo Barros, former Belgium Country Manager is the new Chief Operating Officer and João Bastos, former Deployment, Pre-sales & Product QA Director, is now a member of the board as Chief Solutions Officer. Rita Silva and Paulo Ferreira will both continue on wTVision’s board as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, respectively.
