When the Swiss Football League set out to reimagine its on-air presence for the 2025–2026 season, it wasn’t simply commissioning a graphics refresh — it was selecting a creative partner capable of translating the complexity of its competition into a cohesive visual identity.
Chosen to support this transformation, wTVision took on the responsibility of designing and delivering the official broadcast branding for both the Brack Super League and the Dieci Challenge League — two pillars of Swiss professional football. This engagement reflects wTVision’s established position in the international broadcast industry, and its ongoing ability to merge design intelligence with editorial precision.
A Strategic Visual System for a Multi-Layered Competition
At the heart of this project lies a bold ambition: to create a unified graphics architecture capable of evolving in step with a uniquely complex league format. From early-season games through to championship and relegation splits, and ultimately to promotion playoffs, the Swiss Football League required a system capable of adapting to structural nuances while supporting a clear and consistent viewing experience across all phases of competition.
wTVision responded with a comprehensive broadcast identity — modular by design, future-proof in structure — that balances editorial needs with brand consistency. Every graphic element, from live data overlays to thematic transitions, was developed to serve both storytelling and visual clarity, from early-season games to decisive playoffs.
Leading the Narrative Through Design
What sets this project apart is not the quantity of assets delivered, but the strategic thinking embedded in every layer of the design. The focus extended beyond appearance — it was about translating brand, structure and regulation into a cohesive visual language.
“Being chosen to redefine how an entire league is experienced on screen is not just a creative opportunity — it’s a statement of trust. Our role was to give the Swiss Football League a bold, cohesive voice on-air, grounded in the identity of its clubs and the rhythm of its competition. By translating these elements into a unified broadcast language, we also strengthened the emotional bridge between fans and the league they support.” — Pedro Pires, Creative Director at wTVision
From visual language to motion dynamics, the system was designed to embody the league’s brand in motion. While the Brack Super League was equipped with a premium suite of graphics to match its flagship status, the Dieci Challenge League received a fine-tuned variant — consistent with the overarching identity yet precisely adjusted to reflect its specific role within the competition structure.
Navigating Compliance Through Strategic Design
Alongside the creative vision, wTVision engineered the system architecture to meet the Swiss Football League’s detailed regulatory and sponsorship framework. From brand exposure rules to visual identity specifications across both competitions, each requirement was addressed through a design-driven approach that balanced precision, clarity, and brand alignment.
Drawing on its extensive experience in highly regulated broadcast environments, wTVision translated these conditions into a visual system that supports editorial neutrality without compromising expressiveness. This is particularly evident in the league’s VAR visual model, where information is presented with clarity, balance, and unmistakable brand continuity — reinforcing trust, recognition, and institutional presence at every stage of the match.
From Brand to Broadcast: A Systemic Approach to Identity
More than a design assignment, the Swiss Football League project reflects wTVision’s ability to respond to complex editorial structures with visual consistency, modular design, and integrated workflows — reinforcing its creative leadership and strategic role in the sports broadcast ecosystem. By developing the visual identity of two national competitions — each with its own structural complexity and regulatory nuance — wTVision delivered a solution that merges editorial vision with broadcast-ready execution. The graphic system was not only designed to represent the league’s identity but also to integrate seamlessly into real-world production workflows, ensuring clarity, consistency, and operational efficiency across all live scenarios.
This engagement reinforces wTVision’s position as a strategic partner for leagues and federations seeking to elevate their brand through purpose-built, scalable, and workflow-aware broadcast design.
