wTVision develops a cloud-based ticker for ClaroJanuary 29, 2025

wTVision has developed a cloud-based ticker solution for Claro, in Mexico, to display general news and financial information in real-time.

Claro had already two traditional, local-based tickers developed by wTVision. Our team had also addressed a previous need for Claro by delivering web-based graphics for the Olympic Games, seamlessly integrated with the official data feed provided by the event organizers.

Building on the success of this solution - praised for its speed and cost-effectiveness - Claro, approached our team to explore a similar approach for their ongoing needs. As a result, wTVision developed a cloud-based ticker solution to display real-time general news and financial information.

Powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), the solution leverages advanced cloud computing capabilities to ensure scalability and performance. This ticker also leverages web technologies, such as HTML, JavaScript, and Vue.js on the client side, ensuring flexibility and customization. On the server side, it operates through wTVision’s AWS-based controller.

This cloud migration enhances scalability and streamlines operations, even though the client primarily requires it to run locally, where the integration of graphics with video is done. This approach allows Claro to deliver dynamic content directly to its viewers, including breaking news and financial updates.

The solution’s cloud-based infrastructure avoids the need for significant upfront investment in hardware. It also bypasses the lengthy logistics, which could add to the timeline of the project. Additionally, the cloud approach enables rapid scalability, such as adding tickers for new channels in seconds, compared to the months it would take with additional on-site hardware.

With this collaboration, wTVision continues to solidify its position as a provider of cloud-based broadcasting solutions while supporting Claro’s commitment to delivering high-quality information to its viewers.
