wTVision Marks 25 Years at NAB Show 2026 with Award-Winning R³ Engine macOS EditionApril 27, 2026

At a global edition that brought together more than 58,000 registered attendees from 146 countries, wTVision presented a portfolio shaped around real-time graphics, newsroom control, playout automation, live sports production and immersive audience experiences.

NAB Show 2026 became a defining moment for wTVision. In the same year the company marks its 25th anniversary, wTVision welcomed clients, partners and industry professionals in Las Vegas to share the next step in its technology roadmap and reinforce the vision that has guided the company since its beginning: helping media organizations gain full control over increasingly complex production environments.

The 2026 edition of NAB Show reflected a global industry in rapid transformation, with more than 58,000 registered attendees, 22% international participation, visitors from 146 countries, 911 registered press members and more than 1,100 exhibitors. Across the show floor, the key conversations pointed to the future of media and entertainment through artificial intelligence, cloud virtualization, streaming, sports and new audience engagement models.

For wTVision, this global stage carried a special meaning. It was not only an opportunity to present new technology, but also to celebrate 25 years alongside the clients and partners who have been part of the company’s journey across live production, broadcast graphics, automation and real-time storytelling.

R³ Engine macOS Edition takes the spotlight

The main highlight of wTVision’s presence at NAB Show 2026 was the unveiling of the R³ Engine macOS Edition, the first real-time on-air graphics rendering engine running natively on macOS.

Built as a native macOS implementation leveraging Apple Metal, the R³ Engine macOS Edition delivers predictable real-time performance and low-latency rendering, bringing professional on-air graphics into modern, software-defined production environments and expanding the role of the Apple ecosystem in live media workflows.

The product was also recognized with a TV Tech Best of Show 2026 Award, evaluated by a panel of engineers and industry experts according to innovation, feature set and application in serving the media and entertainment industry.

For wTVision, the award reinforces the strategic relevance of the launch. The R³ Engine macOS Edition is not only a technical milestone, but a step forward in making real-time graphics workflows more flexible and aligned with the infrastructure choices shaping the next generation of live production.

A broader workflow vision for modern media operations

Beyond the R³ Engine macOS Edition, wTVision used NAB Show 2026 to present a wider portfolio designed to give broadcasters, media companies, sports organizations and content producers more control across their daily workflows.

In News & Media, wTVision demonstrated on-air graphics workflows powered by StudioCG, enabling end-to-end newsroom and editorial control. Integrated with wMaps, the workflow brings broadcast-quality 2D and 3D maps into news, elections, weather and live coverage, supporting journalists and production teams with data-driven visualization tools designed for clarity, speed and editorial autonomy.

For playout operations, ChannelMaker reinforced wTVision’s approach to resilient, cloud-ready automation. Built to support full control from ingest to on-air, ChannelMaker helps media organizations manage increasingly dynamic channel environments with precision, scalability and operational confidence.

In studio environments, wTVision showcased wVSet and wGWall as part of a broader vision for immersive, workflow-integrated production spaces. wVSet brings together virtual sets and augmented reality to create photorealistic, data-driven studio environments, fully aligned with camera tracking and real-time production needs. wGWall extends this same operational logic to giant LED wall graphics, enabling large-format visual storytelling to be managed within the same creative and editorial workflow. Together, both solutions reflect wTVision’s approach to studio production: giving teams the freedom to design more ambitious visual experiences without losing control, consistency or operational precision.

Live Sports, AI-enhanced AR and immersive audience experiences

wTVision also presented its latest developments for Live Sports, with a focus on data-driven on-air graphics and AI-enhanced augmented reality for sports venues. The showcase included 3D visuals tied to the field, flexible tracking options and virtual advertising capabilities designed for today’s sports environments, where real-time data, visual impact and commercial opportunities are increasingly connected.

This approach reflects a broader shift in sports production: audiences expect richer context, broadcasters need more efficient workflows, and rights holders are looking for new ways to create value across the live experience. wTVision’s sports portfolio brings these needs together through graphics, automation, tracking, AR and data integration.

The company also highlighted HoloGfx, its immersive augmented reality layer designed to bring interactivity and monetization directly into the viewer’s environment. By extending content beyond the traditional screen, HoloGfx opens new possibilities for media producers and brands to create participatory experiences with greater editorial and commercial control.

From 25 years of experience to the next stage of media production

wTVision’s participation at NAB Show 2026 brought together the company’s past, present and future. The 25-year milestone reflects a long-standing presence in some of the world’s most demanding live production environments, while the technologies presented in Las Vegas point to a new phase of growth built around flexibility, software-defined workflows and operational precision.

From real-time graphics running natively on macOS to newsroom maps, playout automation, LED wall control, live sports AR and immersive viewer experiences, wTVision’s showcase at NAB Show 2026 reinforced a clear direction: media production is becoming more integrated, more data-driven and more dependent on systems that give teams control without limiting creativity.

As the company continues to expand its product ecosystem and global partnerships, NAB Show 2026 marked more than a successful event. It set the stage for the next chapter of wTVision’s journey, guided by the same belief that defines its work across the industry:

Inspiring Media Full Control.
