Since February, wTVision is covering the graphics for Angolan Football Premier League: Girabola. ZAP TV, one of the main public broadcaster for Africa’s Portuguese speaking countries, has acquired Angola’s Premier League Championship media rights for several matches and chose wTVision to help in the challenge of broadcasting one of the most competitive leagues in Africa.

What is the role of wTVision during Girabola’s matches?

The design team was responsible for the graphics integration of the ZAP’s official graphics pack for this competition.

wTVision is also providing all the equipment needed to cover the games.

During the season, an operator controls and manages the on-air graphics with FootballStats CG - Single Operation Edition, gathering the most important stats a televised football game requires and launching the graphics from the same interface. To enrich the broadcast, wTVision is also providing augmented reality graphics in the top tier matches using its partner’ systemDelta-stat, showing viewers information such as distance to the goal or offside lines.

wTVision’s operators are in charge of setting up all equipment to cover the events, gathering data during the games, controlling the augmented reality graphics systems and managing the real-time graphics production according to the director’s requests providing a complete worry-free solution to any broadcaster’s sports coverage needs.
