wTVision Powers Season-Long Basketball Graphics for the Lithuanian Basketball LeagueMarch 25, 2026

A unified live graphics workflow built with BasketballCG and R³ Engine is powering the league’s broadcasts throughout the season, from regular-season coverage to cup games.

What begins as a graphics implementation can become something far more valuable when the system is built to perform far beyond deployment day.

That is the case in Lithuania, where wTVision is supporting Dimedia, the official producing partner of the Lithuanian Basketball League, with a live graphics ecosystem for the competition’s ongoing season, combining 2D and 3D on-air graphics in a unified workflow. As Lithuania’s top-tier men’s basketball championship and one of Europe’s strongest domestic leagues, LKL demands a broadcast environment that can keep pace with the scale and intensity of the sport.

At the core of the project is a complementary setup designed to support Dimedia’s production workflow for LKL coverage. BasketballCG powers the 2D graphics environment with FIBA LiveStats integration, locally adapted scoreboard protocols, and an OCR backup layer for added resilience. Complementing that foundation, BasketballCG and R³ Engine, integrated with Stype’s tracking solution, enable a 3D graphics layer that adds depth, movement, and a more dynamic visual layer to the broadcast, creating more space for both storytelling and brand presence.

Rather than delivering a temporary setup for isolated matches, wTVision built the conditions for long-term continuity. The project included graphics implementation, system deployment, and operator training, enabling Dimedia to take ownership of the workflow and operate the system throughout the season across league coverage and cup games.

Across the broadcast, the graphics package extends far beyond the essentials. Permanent clocks, lineups, player statistics, comparison graphics, standings, 3D elements, sponsorship integrations, and review tools all contribute to a richer visual language on air. The result is a broadcast experience that not only informs in real time, but also gives the game more rhythm, sharper context, and greater visual authority.

In basketball, where tempo shifts fast and the visual narrative must keep pace with constant statistical change, that kind of control becomes essential. Graphics need to do more than appear on cue. They need to remain coherent under pressure, react to live data without friction, and support the intensity of the game without slowing the production down.

That is where this project stands out. By combining real-time data integration, a tailored setup for local production requirements, and a graphics architecture capable of supporting both flat and tracked visual layers, wTVision helped create an environment that is not only visually strong, but operationally dependable. The result is a season-long workflow built to serve the league across multiple game contexts, with consistency on screen and confidence behind it.

As wTVision prepares to spotlight BasketballCG at NAB Show 2026, the Lithuanian Basketball League project offers a clear demonstration of what that value looks like in practice: a live graphics workflow designed not just for launch, but for sustained competition, real-time storytelling, and season-long control.
